We are always looking for exceptional translators and interpreters to join our dynamic multilingual team.
In this critical role, you will leverage your advanced linguistic abilities and cultural expertise to deliver accurate, nuanced, and contextually appropriate translations across a wide range of content types and subject areas.
If you have the following qualifications:
- Native-level fluency in any of the Mayan languages spoken in Guatemala and English or Spanish, with the ability to translate fluently between these languages. (Applicants must demonstrate proficiency in written communication within their native language, as evidenced by a certification of at least 95% accuracy, and 98% in oral proficiency from your university in Guatemala, or your linguistic authority/community).
- Master's degree in a related field and 5+ years of proven experience as a professional translator or interpreter.
- Exceptional attention to detail, research skills, and problem-solving abilities to tackle complex translation challenges
- Strong time management skills and the capacity to work to tight deadlines without compromising quality.
- A keen understanding of cultural nuances and the ability to produce translations that resonate with diverse international audiences.
